I'm a proud Northerner living in Manchester. A lover of rain (luckily!) often found wandering the back streets of the cities and villages of the North and beyond. I believe that places are best experienced on foot or by bike as you can follow your curiosity and meet new people along the way.

I love writing about the offbeat and hidden side of destinations to share what I find to be the most exciting bits. When I am not exploring the UK, I spend time learning Dutch, petting cats and reading about destinations I'm yet to discover.
