Fietsen in het buiteland omvat een grote hoeveelheid Fietskaarten & Fietsgidsen. Alle artikelen die weliswaar niet tot ons land behoren zijn te vinden in deze categorie. Van het thema Fietsen in het buitenland, zijn er talloze Uitgevers die het volledige Europese continent afschuimen, opzoek naar locaties, die ze kunnen gebruiken om fietskaarten- en gidsen te ontwikkelen. Het buitenland is minstens even geschikt ook voor Mountainbiking. Duitsland bijvoorbeeld heeft een reeks uitgevers waaronder Estenbauer bijvoorbeeld die in dit segment alleen al tegen de 1400 fietsgidsen- en kaarten kan voorleggen.

Fietsen in het buitenland kan een ongeëvenaarde manier zijn om de diverse culturen, landschappen en historische bezienswaardigheden van het continent te verkennen. Van de schilderachtige kustlijnen van de Middellandse Zee tot de ruige schoonheid van de Alpen, elk land biedt unieke ervaringen voor fietsers van elk niveau. Met de fiets kun je in je eigen tempo reizen, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om te stoppen en charmante dorpjes, oude kastelen en bruisende steden te verkennen. De infrastructuur in veel Europese landen is zeer fietsvriendelijk, met speciale fietspaden, fietsvriendelijke accommodaties en zelfs fietsdeelprogramma's in stedelijke gebieden.
Of je nu door de wijngaarden van Frankrijk, de fjorden van Noorwegen of de fiets vlaktes van Nederland fietst, fietsen door Europa is een avontuur dat fysieke uitdaging combineert met culturele ontdekking, en biedt een intieme band met de rijke tapijten van het continent. Fietsroutes in het buitenland zijn dan wel iets wat met fietsen te maken kan hebben, u kunt het zich u niet voorstellen dat het over de gewone zondag fietsroutjes gaat die men overal vindt. Bij Bibliotrek betekend deze pagina over Fietsen in het buitenland de gewone fiets, de downhillers, de Mtb'ers de Vtt'ers, en tot zelfs de wielrenners. De Elektrische fiets laten we er nog even uit, omdat men bij de uitgevers nog niet echt is gestart met fietroutekaarten en gidsen te ontwikkelen enkel voor de elektrische fiets fanaat.
In dit segment is onze vertrouwde uitgever "Estenbauer" of beter, Bikeline genoemd, het grootst vertegenwoordigd, aangezien we het hier hebben over Duitsland. De grootste uit ons fietsgamma vanuit het buitenland. U kunt uiteraard alles vinden in dit segment, niet alleen Duitsland is vertegenwoordigd. Zo zijn de Franse regio's ook een het groeien in de fietswereld. Mocht u mij nu vragen, wat er voor Frankrijk het meeste in zit, dan moet ik het bij wandelen houden, want de Fransen, gezien de omvangrijke landschappen, hebben de fiets precies nog niet ontdekt. Fietsen in het Buitenland is precies een soort samenvatting over de meer toepasselijke routes, en dan is dat eveneens van toepassing voor Duitsland en Frankrijk.
Eurovélo routes
Eurovélo routes, de uitgevers hiervan baseren zich niet op de schoonheid van het boek, gids- of kaart, maar eerder op hun verkoop omzet, die hen beetje bij beetje hun gamma doen perfectioneren. De gidsen, boeken of kaarten die het beste verkopen in hun gamma, die blijven bestaan, en worden keer voor keer heruitgebracht als volgende editie. De rest verdwijnt onder het stof, en nieuwe meer uitgekiemde exemplaren stellen zich voor. De beschreven Eurovélo routes zijn talrijk en serieuze exemplaren, die verdwijnen nooit. Er zijn er 19, en ze breiden elk jaar verder en verder uit.
Het rijden van de Eurovélo-routes in Europa is een opmerkelijk avontuur en biedt fietsers een ongeëvenaarde manier om het continent te verkennen. Deze uitgebreide fietspaden verbinden meerdere landen en slingeren door afwisselende landschappen, historische steden en bruisende steden. Ook Historische fiets- en wandelroutes komen er van pas op bijna alle 19 van de bestaande routes. Elke route is zorgvuldig ontworpen en garandeert een veilige en plezierige ervaring voor fietsers van elk niveau. Of u nu langs de schilderachtige Rijn fietst, door de pittoreske Loirevallei navigeert of de Oostzeekust verkent, het Eurovélo netwerk biedt een unieke mix van natuurlijke schoonheid en culturele rijkdom.
Fietsers kunnen zich onderdompelen in de lokale cultuur, regionale keukens proeven en bezienswaardigheden bezoeken die niet op de toeristische route liggen. De goed aangegeven routes en ondersteunende infrastructuur, waaronder fietsvriendelijke accommodaties en reparatiestations, maken de reis soepel en toegankelijk. Het rijden van de Eurovélo routes is meer dan alleen een fietstocht, het is een kans om diep in contact te komen met het erfgoed en de landschappen van Europa.
