Een ervaring die natuur, cultuur en avontuur samenbrengt. Elk park heeft zijn eigen karakter en wandelroutes die je meenemen langs bossen, meren en bergen. In Duitsland vind je bijvoorbeeld het Bayerischer Wald Nationaal Park, een gebied vol dichte wouden en rustige dorpen zoals Grafenau, waar veel routes starten. In België trekken de Hoge Venen Nationaal Park bezoekers met indrukwekkende bossen en wandelingen rond dorpen. In Oostenrijk kan je routes volgen die je dicht bij de Grossglockner brengen, de hoogste berg van Oostenrijk. Voor wie liever meren en watervallen verkent, is het Plitvice Nationaal Park in Kroatië een droom. Vanuit het dorp Rastovača leiden goed bewegwijzerde wandelpaden je langs turquoise meren en houten bruggetjes.
Ook het Sächsische Schweiz Nationaal Park in Duitsland is geliefd. De beroemde Bastei-rotsformatie biedt een spectaculair uitzicht en wandelroutes die je verbinden met dorpen als Bad Schandau. Wat zijn nu de doelen van deze parken?
Wat zijn nu de doelen van deze parken? In België bestaan de nationale parken al sinds 1925, maar op dit moment is er slechts 1 in België die geklasseerd staat als Nationaal park, en een pak meer als regionaal park, Bos, Venne of Natuurreservaat. De Hoge Venen (Oostkantons). Het spreekt voor zich, dat wandelen- en fietsen in zowel nationale als regionale parken en bossen, een bezigheid is die op zich al uw vakantie plannen kunnen doen slagen.
Ze zijn gewoonweg niet meer weg te denken in onze maatschappij, zeker nu er wereldwijd hoe langer hoe meer mensen rondlopen, is het aangewezen dat mooie gebieden gevrijwaard worden van enige commerciële activiteiten. Het grote verschil tussen Nationale en Regionale parken, is de grote ervan, de fauna en flora die er te vinden zijn, en de wilde dieren die er vertoeven. Een deel van deze parken, nationaal of regionaal is zelfs geklasseerd als UNESCO gebied, die ze dan nog een pak interessanter maken.
Wat bedoeld men onder Nationaal park?
Wat bedoeld men onder Nationaal park? Nationale parken in Frankrijk bijvoorbeeld, ondanks we hier niet alle landen laten aan bod komen, is Frankrijk voor ons Belgen toch ook wel de moeite waard om op te noemen. De Nationale natuurreservaten/parken in Frankrijk, zijn zoals vermeld eerder reservaten dan parken, met name: NP Calanque, NP Cevennen, NP Vanoise, NP Ecrins, NP Pyreneeën, NP Mercantour, NP Port-Cros, in het buitenland NP Guadeloupe, NP La Réunion & NP Guyana.
Nationale parken zijn naar onze mening de meest en best beschermde gebieden en tegelijk ook de mooiste gebieden op aarde. Overal staan ze bekend als een product van fiere inwoners, en vormen meestal een aanzienlijk deel van het land waarin ze zich bevinden. Nationame parken zijn uitermate toegangkelijk buiten bepaalde exemplaren die aan herstelling toe zijn. Met de Reisgidsen van Bibliotrek vindt u de meeste gegevens van Nationale parken van het land waar u naartoe wenst. Geen enkele reisgidsen, indien er parken aanwezig zijn in dat land, spreekt er niet over.
Wat bedoeld men onder Régionale parken?
Wat bedoeld men onder Régionale parken?, Regionale parken daarentegen, hebben we in grote hoeveelheden, sommige zo klein als een voetbalveld, anderen de grote van een provincie. België beschikt over één en ander van regionale parken. Zo heb je het regionaal landschap van de lage Kempen, die op zich al bestaat uit 15 gemeentes waaronder men dit gebied kan onderbrengen. Beringen, Bocholt, Halen, Ham, Hamont-Achel, Hechtel-Eksel, Heusden-Zolder, Houthalen-Helchteren, Leopoldsburg, Lommel, Lummen, Neerpelt, Overpelt, Tessenderlo & Zonhoven.
Dit Regionaal landschap kent een dikke 4 landschapstypen: de zandige streken in het noordwesten, Vallei van de Dommel, Warmbeek en A-beek in het noorden. Het beekdal landschap van de Zwarte Beek, en het vijvergebied, De Wijers. Zo zijn regionale parken niet te klaseren als stadsparken, ze houden een reden in waarom ze regionaal worden genaamd, waar de stadsparken dan weer parken zijn, en niets meer dan dat. Bijna in alle Reisgidsen, en dan bedoelen we niet de culturele reisgidsen, zijn er atijd verwijzingen naar deze parken, het zijn tenslotte plaatsen waar mensen tot rust komen.
Welke parken zijn wel en niet toegangkelijk?
Welke parken zijn wel en niet toegangkelijk? De grote internationaal bekende parken zoals Josemity NP, Yellowstone NP, Grand canyon NP, Bryce canyon NP, Glacier NP, Zion NP, Great Smokey Mountains NP enz. worden voor iedereen opengesteld op gelijk welk moment van het jaar, van het moment dat ze effectief ook toegangkelijk zijn wat de weersomstandigheden betreft.
Sommige hoger gelegen locaties binnen de parken, nationaal of regionaal kunnen in de winter worden afgesloten door sneeuw en ijs, en voor sommige kan ook een jaar abonement worden gevraagd om er te mogen vertoeven, maar dat is het zowat. Dan zijn er de parken die nooit worden afgesloten, waar nooit geen abonementen of wat dan ook voor worden gevraagd, enkel en alleen al omwille van hun ligging. Op afgelegen locaties waar er meestal geen mensen komen, en locaties die moeilijk te bereiken zijn door te hoge of te lage temperaturen enzomeer. Let op, deze bovenvermelde parken zijn niet door te komen zonder Wandelkaarten! ze zijn tevens groter dan België
Waarom werden deze gebieden zo geklasseerd?
Waarom werden deze gebieden zo geklasseerd? Parken in et algemeen hebben een dubbele bedoeling. Enerzijds zijn die er om beschermd te worden tegen de economische ontwikkelingen die individuen met al hun bezigheden onbegrensd zouden blijven doorvoeren, waardoor dergelijke natuur compleet zou verdwijnen.
Anderzijds zijn die er om Fauna, Flora en beschermde diersoorten te kunnen blijven beschermen tegen allerhande mogelijkheden dat de mens voor gekend is. Sinds het idee om gebieden te beschermen werd op kwam, zijn parken, nationaal of regionaal niet meer weg te denken in onze wereld. Want iedereen weet dat de mens het allemaal zou inpalmen voor welke redenen dan ook. Nu zijn ook regionale parken, natuurreservaten, stadsparken, Beemden, Vennes en bossen berspreekbaar geworden om te beschermen. Zeker nu er steeds meer mensen rondlopen, zouden parken in gelijk welke vorm gewoon verdwijnen of ten prooi vallen van de altijd goed bedoelde bedoelingen, maar hoe dan ook aangetast worden.
